The Rhubarbs are a Philly-based sketch comedy team passionate about vegetables, cats, and fan fiction. You may recognize these veggies from their sold-out run of The Brave Little Rhubarbs, their holiday show The Mouse King Rises: On Ice, their Free Fringe Philly show The NeverEnding Veggie Tale, NYC Sketchfest, Black Friday Comedy Marathon, or A Very Virgo Virtual Show. Brought together by fate, they hold the record for most Sink-or-Sketch competition wins at Philly Improv Theater. They enjoy flora and fauna, healing, magic, and musical theatre. They don’t like gender reveals or oppressive systems.

The Rhubarbs are Justin Clarel, Tanya Morgan, Amanda Schafer, and Dan Mosley.

Amanda Schafer is a queer, female writer who’s desperately in love with Philadelphia. She loves writing dark, freaky shit and using sketch as a space to challenge & allow vulnerability. She’s still in awe of that our dark lord brought The Rhubarbs together to rule the mortal realm. She is very grateful to Wooden Shoe and to the Free Fringe Philly festival for creating an opportunity to provide accessible art. Hail Seitan!
